Just so you know that critical scientific thought did not start with Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, today, June 8th, marks the anniversary of the publication, by Rene Descartes, in 1637 of his Discourse on the Method for Guiding One’s Reason and Searching for Truth in the Sciences, the source of the famous quote, “I think, therefore I am.”
