Paul the Psychic Octopus Chapter Two

 Paul the psychic octopus is through making predictions and perhaps that is a good thing. Some people are saying that Paul might not be psychic after all ( I'm shocked!) and that perhaps his amazing predictions have to do with the fact that he prefers the color yellow. ( In case you haven't noticed both the German and Spanish flags have yellow in them, but Spain's flag is yellower)Could it be? Maybe and maybe not. Check out this on the Total Pro Sports website.

It seems the octopus is a most intelligent animal.  Could it also be psychic?  Who knows.  Here's what  Wikipedia has to say:

 In laboratory experiments, octopuses can be readily trained to distinguish between different shapes and patterns. They have been reported to practice observational learning,^[10] although the validity of these findings is widely contested on a number of grounds.^[5][6] Octopuses have also been observed in what some have described as play: repeatedly releasing bottles or toys into a circular current in their aquariums and then catching them.^[11] Octopuses often break out of their aquariums and sometimes into others in search of food. They have even boarded fishing boats and opened holds to eat crabs.^[7]

AND....

 Octopuses have keen eyesight. Octopuses, like other cephalopods, can distinguish the polarization of light. Color vision appears to vary from species to species, being present in Octopus aegina but absent in Octopus vulgaris

Me? I prefer to believe in Paul's psychic abilities but then I am also into Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. Enjoy your retirement, Paul.
