The Urban Art of Sandrine Estrade Boulet

French artist Sandrine Estrade Boulet has an eye for the unexpected. She incorporates the urban landscape and a surprising variety of  streetscape objects into her whimsical creations.  I just had to share a few examples. Go to her website for more.

this one is called  gust of wind

Inspiration from a few blades of grass

That's a smoker eh?

This one just cracks me up

She sees a butterfly in an ironing board-- genius!

talk about repurposed art :-)
Who hasn't had this thought?

Now, wasn't that fun?

Absolutely, Flash-- I think she has a wonderful, playful quality but still makes a real statement. Thanks so much stopping to look and comment. Always good to see you:-)

Our lives can only be enriched when an artists like Ms. Boulet use whimsy to remind us that ordinary objects aren't so ordinary after all. Thanks for sharing her work!
